Pentagon GPS General Conditions of Sale
Please examine your goods
carefully upon receipt and notify us immediately of any damage to the item in
particular if your item has an LCD display screen or if any of the listed
contents appear to be missing no claims for damage or missing items can be undertaken
24 hours after receipt of goods
All items carry a 14 Day from original invoice date dead on arrival warranty
(DOA) from Pentagongps after which the remainder of the warranty period will be
covered by the relevant manufacturer of the item please ensure you register
your product in accordance with the manufacturers requirements most items can
be registered on line at the relevant manufacturers web site
If your product develops a fault inside the DOA period please contact us on 0114
2858081 and we will advise the next steps needed to rectify the problem
If your product develops a fault outside of the DOA period please in the first
instance contact the relevant manufacturer using the contact method found
inside the items handbook or on the manufacturers web site who will advise you
on the correct procedure of getting the item repaired if you are not sure of
who to contact please contact
us and we will advise the correct procedure

suppliers at the bottom of the page see useful contact numbers
All returned products will need to be tested to identify whether the item is
defective we will endeavour to test all suspected faulty
items returned within 2 working days no returns or exchanges can be undertaken
until this procedure has been carried out All items found not to be faulty will
be returned to the customer at their expense a charge for testing non faulty
items of £30 may also be made
If the item is misused in any way this will not be covered under our DOA
warranty or the manufacturer’s warranty, all warranty claims are subject to acceptance
by the manufacturer, the decision of the manufacturer is final in all cases
Goods are strictly not sold on a trial basis and will only be accepted back for
credit if required to do so by statutory law
Under the
United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the
contract for the purchase of any of our items within a period of 7 working
days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. This
applies to all of our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept
cancellations of contracts for the purchase of video, DVD, audio, video games
and software products including any map software where the item has been
unsealed or if the item was ordered as a special order to your requirements, is
of perishable nature or a business transaction We can accept returns of
complete product, which is unused and in an "as new" condition.
To cancel this contract, please
provide us with written notice of your intent to do this and please pack the
relevant item securely, and send it to us with a copy of the delivery invoice
so that we receive it within 7 working days after the day of the date that the
item was delivered to you
We will credit your account
with in 30 days of providing Pentagon with notice of cancellation
For your protection, where
you are returning an item to us, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery
service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning
the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is
faulty.
While every effort will be made to deliver items the next working day the
delivery charge shown at the point of checkout does not include any extra
charge for next day delivery and is our standard delivery charge no guarantee
of next day delivery is undertaken and no shipping refunds will be issued for
items not received next day
Any order placed by you for
goods advertised on our website is an offer by you to purchase the goods
selected in your order. No contract exists between you and us for the sale of
any goods until we have received your order and accepted it (which we may do at
our discretion). We will send you an order acknowledgement shortly after you
place your order, notifying you that we have received your order.
This acknowledgement is not
a notification we have accepted your order.
Every effort is made to
ensure that prices shown on pentagongps.co.uk are accurate at the time of
placing your order. If, by mistake, we have under priced an item we will
contact you and offer you the following three options:
Placing a new
order at the correct price for those goods;
Cancelling the
whole of your order; or
Cancelling your
order for the mis-priced goods and reconfirm your order for the correctly
priced goods
If you do not
choose one of these three options with in 7 days we will cancel your order and
issue any refund back to the original payment method
This does not effect your statutory rights
Pentagon Sheffield may revise these terms and conditions of sale without notice
at any time
