Garmin International is pleased to announce the nüvi 1300 series GPS navigators. These sat-navs feature a widescreen ultra-slim design (approximately 25% thinner than previous models), pedestrian navigation with public transit mode, ecoRoute™ fuel-saver feature and text-to-speech. Take this sleek, pocket-sized navigator on journeys in and out of the car with new CityXplorer™ major city pedestrian mapping and public transport routing [optional download]; add public transport information* to plan the complete trip using public footpaths, cycle routes, subways, trains, buses and more – together with journey times, a travel itinerary breakdown and neighbourhood-based points of interest. Public transport timetables* are also taken into account to calculate your best route and estimated time of arrival.
With an easy-to-use touchscreen display, nüvi’s enhanced user interface boasts improved graphics and new touch-and-slide menu operation. ecoRoute™ suggests fuel-efficient routes to save drivers fuel and money as nüvi 1300 routes to addresses, restaurants, hotels and more with spoken turn-by-turn directions - even announcing upcoming road names on your route. Experience enhanced navigation by adding powerful features such as Bluetooth® wireless technology for hands-free calling and live traffic avoidance. Pair nüvi with a compatible Bluetooth® phone and talk hands-free while giving the road your full attention. Every model in the series is traffic compatible, but traffic (T) models give live alerts for delays, incidents and road construction on the route through an included GTM traffic receiver. Every nüvi 1300 contains smart safety camera software to compare your route against a daily-updated log of fixed, temporary and mobile safety camera locations. This unique driver safety system uses a patented ‘corridor’ technique of camera validation to bring only the relevant alerts.
Take advantage of Lane Guidance by choosing nüvi 1370 or 1350. Navigate confidently and without hesitation as nüvi shows the correct lane for upcoming exits and motorway junctions. nüvi 1390T also includes Junction View, which shows a realistic representation of upcoming junctions complete with road signs, where available.
Travel the world with the transatlantic nüvi 1370, which includes City Navigator® NT road maps for Europe and North America1. nüvi 1390T and 1350 contain City Navigator® NT road maps for 33 East and West European countries and major routes for 40 with up to 1.5 million points of interest. nüvi 1340(T) is preloaded with mapping coverage for Western Europe with full street maps for 22 countries and major roads for 40. The most affordable nüvi 1310 has comprehensive UK and Ireland regional mapping coverage. The map data is provided by NAVTEQ™, a world leader in premium-quality mapping.
