Nav N Go suspends deliveries to Mio

Navigation software company Nav N Go yesterday announced "the immediate suspension of all business activities with Mio International Ltd., a 100%-owned subsidiary of Mitac International Corporation, as a result of continuous breaches of contract”.

Nav N Go's navigation software, iGO My Way, had been included in all Mio devices for Europe, North America and other regions until recently; however, following the acquisition of Navman by Mio last year, Mio is now launching a new range of PNDs that feature the Navman software (read here our article on this topic).

Nav N Go was not willing to comment its decision, saying "Nav N Go, out of respect for its current and potential future partners, does not wish to go into the details of its decision, and asserts that every effort will be made to resolve the situation amicably”.

Despite this announcement, Nav N Go feels optimistic for the future, the company „still predicts major growth in turnover compared to previous years, based on its current contracts with leading market players”.
